4 Ingredient BBQ Sauce

4 Ingredient BBQ Sauce

I think it is pretty obvious by looking through my post history or my Instagram feed, that I am heavily into BBQ food. I love the smoky, sweet flavour and always gravitate toward BBQ food at events.

It's really important to me that the BBQ sauce I eat is homemade as opposed to shop bought as there are, generally a lot of 'nasties' lurking in the pre-made jars. Although, having said that, some of them are great.

I decided to share this recipe with you, to show you how easy it is to create your own and save you time and money, whilst creating a bold flavoursome meal.

The Recipe

Total Time - 15 mins including prep // Difficulty Level (1-5): 2 //Serves: 2 people

1tablespoon smoked paprika
1 tablespoon coconut nectar honey
1/2 tablespoon Sriracha or ketchup if preferred
1/2 tablespoon balsamic glaze

      1. Place the ingredients into a bowl, mix and that is all!
      2. Store in an airtight container in a dark, dry place - the sauce may crystallise in colder climates, but this is nothing to worry about, just give it a quick mix and the crystals will melt when added to hot food.

      Serving Suggestions
      • The sauce can be used as a marinade, as a dip or dressings.
